As most of you know by now, a Star Wars X Adidas collection will be making its debut this Fall/Winter. Today we get our first look at one of the pairs from the collection, the Star Wars x adidas Nite Jogger R2-D2.Shown above, the Star Wars x adidas Nite Jogger R2-D2 comes dressed in a White upper contrasted by the Blue and Orange hits found throughout. Adding even more R2-D2 vibes are the Silver leather overlays, R2-D2 tongue labels, a White Boost midsole and co-branded insoles. The fourth installment of the Nike Kobe 4 Prelude collection is just around the corner. As the release becomes closer and closer, more pictures of the sneaker will hit the surface. Each sneaker is said to commemorate a milestone in Kobe’s career. This pair is tribute to Kobe’s first NBA Finals MVP.The Nike Kobe 4 Prelude sports a Dark purple with art inspired designs throughout the sneaker. Laker Gold is featured on the swoosh and mixed into the designs as well. The shoe is set to release this weekend, December 28th, at select Nike retailers as well as online. Recently, Nike Basketball added the PG 1 to the iD system which allows everyone to customize their own. Allowing you to have an exclusive, the brand now furthers the theme by adding a Floral Print option.Creating your own NikeID PG 1 ‘Floral Print’ will allow you to have some additional options. For example you can use either Cream or Black across the uppers. In addition you can also add Metallic Silver or Gold on the Nike Swoosh. Some of the other customizing exclusives include adding speckled detailing on the midsole and the use of Gum or translucent outsole. Exotic Animal Prints Cover The Latest Nike Kyrie 6,Having already released a bevy of wild iterations, Nike Basketball and Kyrie Irving are adding exotic animal prints onto the latest Kyrie 6.While Nike has yet to reveal the inspiration behind this pair, official imagery shows that the upper is predominately covered in vibrant aqua, while the midfoot strap boasts a cheetah-inspired print and heel counter is styled in orange. Sticking with the motif, the aforementioned shade of blue covers the Air Zoom Turbo-cushioned midsole and rubber outsole. This Kyrie 6 is scheduled to drop on Nike.com and at select Nike Basketball retailers on Feb. 1 for $88. Life in the public eye got off to an interesting start for the KD 11 when Nike Senior Director of Global Communications Heidi Burgett tweeted, then later deleted, images of the shoe in mid-May. Like we’ve often seen with the Nike spokesperson, she showcased the sneaker on her personal account first, but rather than being followed up by official communications shortly thereafter, it didn’t hit Nike’s news site until nearly a month later. Durant had been expected to debut the shoe himself during the 2018 NBA Finals, but instead opted to stick with the KD 10—the same model he wore en route to his first NBA title the year prior. Since Durant hasn’t argued this particular decision on social media, we can only speculate at this point as to his reasoning, but regardless of his motivations, it added to the rather unceremonious unveiling of the new model.Despite the rocky debut, Durant will presumably be wearing the 11 for the upcoming 2018-19 NBA season, and it’s hard to imagine a scenario in which the Warriors aren’t hoisting the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy over their heads next June. So its introduction could be long forgotten about by then, especially if the model performs on court.
